St. Philip School's Parent/Guardian Teacher Alliance (PTA) exists to support the community of students, faculty, parents and guardians in and out of the classroom. Its primary function is to provide financial support and plan for special school activities and enrichment programs. (All funds raised go directly back to the school.)
The P.T.A is also involved in planning social events and providing parent/guardian education.
Examples of P.T.A.-sponsored activities and programs include:
- School enrichment classes
- Annual Fine Arts Evening
- Annual Teacher Appreciation luncheon
- Annual Track & Field
- First Communion luncheon (hosted by third grade parents)
- Graduation dinner (hosted by seventh grade parents)
- Graduation gifts
- Hot Lunch Program (approximately 5-6 times a month)
- Parent education (guest speakers)
- Social events

PTA Upcoming events
- Ice Skating: Monday, January 17th at Yerba Buena. Join the PTA for Yerba Buena’s ‘Cheap Skate Night’ on Monday January 17th from 7:30 to 9pm. Entry fee includes 90 minutes of skating and skate rental.
- Resource Center Night: January 26th
- Paxti’s Fundraiser for St. Philip: February 27th. Take advantage of the 12:30 dismissal and grab lunch, dinner, or both at the Noe Valley Patxi’s location! Patxi’s will donate 10% of the entire day’s profits to St. Philip. Dine in, delivery, and gift certificate purchases are all included!
